Lauren Emily Whalen is a Chicago-based writer, theater critic, and performer who brings heart, wit, and fearless honesty to everything she creates. She is the author of I Heart Jennifer Coolidge, and four novels: Satellite, Take Her Down, Two Winters, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. A versatile writer, Lauren is a thesis reader for Roosevelt University’s MFA Writing Program and contributes regularly to GO Magazine and BookPage. She’s also authored projects for Running Press, Electric Postcard Entertainment, Red Line Editorial, and others. If she’s not working on her latest novel, she’s probably at the ballet barre or rocking out to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
