Carolyn is a New York-based actor, teaching artist, and private coach working in theater, film, TV, and commercials. Since earning her BA from Harvard University and her MFA from NYU's Graduate Acting Program, she has performed award-winning work on regional and New York stages, including The Cake (Manhattan Theater Club), Zurich (New York Theater Workshop), Cry It Out (Shadowland Stages), As You Like It (Denver Center), Comedy of Errors, Troilus and Cressida, Henry VI Part II, Cymbeline (Colorado Shakespeare Festival), The Scene (Dorset Theater), and Hunter John and Jane (Portland Center Stage). Her on-camera credits include The Gilded Age and High Maintenance (HBO); FBI and Bull (CBS); The Blacklist (NBC); Heels (STARZ), as well as multiple short films and national commercials. When not performing, she acts as a teaching artist with Child’s Play NY and the Public Performing Arts School in NYC, creating and leading classes, as well as directing student productions. Carolyn is also a private audition coach for professional actors and students.
