Amaia Arana is a bilingual actor, writer, and visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Washington, DC, she has appeared on popular TV series such as New Amsterdam and The Blacklist, and recently on Broadway in The Collaboration. Amaia has an extensive background in classical theatre and earned her BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and her MFA from NYU’s Graduate Acting program. Her passion for community-building and helping individuals find and share their unique, authentic voices makes her a valuable member of our performance faculty. If she’s not onstage, you might find her teaching indoor cycling, reading fantasy books, analog collaging, or cuddling with her pup, Roxie.
