Shelli Brunswick

Space Advocate, DEI and Womenempowerment Champion

Shelli Brunswick brings rich perspective and deep vision of the global space ecosystem to her work as Chief Operating Officer of Space Foundation.  She advocates for space technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, diversity, inclusion, and global partnership while overseeing Space Foundation's three primary divisions:  Symposium 365, Center for Innovation and Education, and Global Alliance.  In her work, Shelli collaborates with organizations around the world to connect commercial, government, and educational sectors to advance space technology innovations for the future of humanity and planet Earth.  This includes speaking at more than 100 global engagements a year.

Formerly a space acquisition and program management leader and congressional liaison for the U.S. Air Force, Shelli is currently one of 55 women selected by the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) as a mentor for its Space4Women program.  She was also named the 2021 Global Technology Leader by WomenTech Network and the 2020 Diversity & Inclusion Officer and Role Model of the Year.

Shelli has published a series of articles on the progress in the developing space technology initiatives throughout the world and is currently contributing to several books.
