I make governance a little easier and a whole lot more effective.
In the early 1980s, Max Chauvin earned a degree in physical chemistry and learned to derive the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Quickly discovering that no one cared and that he liked people more than computers and test tubes, Max began his 30-year career strengthening his community and assisting others.
Since 2002, Max Chauvin has helped Community organizations focus, achieve extraordinary success, and transform their communities. He has been honoured twice by Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second for community leadership and volunteerism and received similar recognition from both the Province of Nova Scotia and the Halifax Regional Municipality. Max believes that volunteers are the engine of community action and change.
Max is a nationally certified trainer and facilitator, consultant, and professional speaker. He holds both an MBA and an MSc in Strategic Planning. Those who have worked with Max Chauvin know he will provide tough love when required and will do everything he can to ensure that each group achieves its potential, changing forever the lives of its members, friends, and neighbours.
