The original Director of Production for Club Penguin, the world’s largest virtual world for kids, Charity Joy helped propel the game from startup to over 300 million global users. Following Club Penguin’s acquisition by Disney, Charity worked with Disney to develop immersive virtual and in-person experiences.
Over the past 15 years, Charity has been instrumental in starting successful businesses in gaming, healthcare, and even microbrewing. She’s worked alongside the world’s most innovative teams including Pixar, Lucasfilm, Disney Imagineering, Marvel, IBM, and Lenovo. And, Charity continues to mentor technology startup entrepreneurs around the world through organizations like TechStars, and consults on corporate social innovation alongside organizations like Purppl.
Charity currently serves as the Sr. Sports Franchise Producer for EA’s fight titles.
