What We Believe
We believe that a speech has the power to change the world and the people in it—including the speaker.
What We Do
Heroic Public Speaking helps thought leaders with transformational ideas leverage their ideas and the power of performance to move audiences (and themselves) to think, feel, and act differently. Heroic is a place of intense energy and creativity, built on a foundation of creative and intellectual excellence. With its longstanding commitments to community and integrity, Heroic is the ideal laboratory for leaders to create signature intellectual property, prepare to give the greatest speeches of their lives, and write books that are revered and dog-eared.
Who We Do It For
Who & Where We Are
We're a small and fast growing company founded by industry icons Amy and Michael Port with headquarters in Lambertville, NJ. Michael is a NY Times, WSJ, and USA Today bestselling author of nine books. He sold his first company, Book Yourself Solid Worldwide, before starting Heroic with Amy in 2014.
We are looking for someone with sales acumen, who also understands the speaking and thought leadership industry. Because we take an honest and consultative approach to sales, we believe that someone who has participated in the industry will be the best guide for our potential students, as they determine their path to success with Heroic.
You will get exposure to the evolving nature of our company, renowned for its unwavering commitment to honesty and integrity. We are in search of a candidate whose character is reflective of our company values—someone who holds integrity in high regard and acts with transparency and sincerity in all interactions.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and possesses an ownership mindset. As the Director, Admissions you will report to the COO and have responsibility for meeting our admissions and revenue growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing key growth strategies, tactics, and action plans, partnering with candidates to map out their education path, as well as the development, training, and management of sales associates in the future.
We value people who exhibit a strong moral compass, a commitment to ethical behavior, and a willingness to go above and beyond to maintain the trust and respect we’ve earned from our students and in the marketplace.
