Marilyn joined Temple University’s Fox School of Business in 2016 as an assistant professor in strategic management and as business development director for Fox Management Consulting. Through the Fox Translational Research Center she co-authored numerous international award-winning business case studies emphasizing women-led and social impact enterprises.

She stepped down from full-time teaching in 2021 to pursue a career as a ghostwriter. Her first book was published in 2021 and was a finalist in the International Book Awards business category. She is at work on her eighth book. A multifaceted entrepreneur in both for-profit and not-for-profit arenas, Marilyn has conceived, funded, and executed large-scale operations. She has served as regional director for the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture and as the founding executive director for Lundale Farm in Chester County. Her for-profit work was in the hospitality sector, where she was CEO of the farm-to-table innovator the White Dog Café in Philadelphia. She later launched her own local foods restaurant, Summerhouse Grill.

Marilyn received her MA in teaching from Brown University and a BA in English literature from Cornell University. She lives in Philadelphia, where she suffers the fate of loyal sports fans.
