Janice

Gable Bashman

Writing Faculty

Janice is the author of Predator and Wanted Undead or Alive (Bram Stoker Finalist; co-authored by New York Times bestseller Jonathan Maberry). As a book coach and ghostwriter, she has turned ideas from business and thought leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, industry experts, and others into nonfiction books. Janice served as managing editor and publisher of The Big Thrill, the International Thriller Writers’​ magazine. Her short fiction has been published in various anthologies and magazines. She has written for leading publications, including the Short Story Writer’s Market, The Writer, Writer’s Digest, and Wild River Review.


Janice has been a speaker and workshop leader at writers’ conferences, including ThrillerFest, SCBWI NJ, Pennwriters, The Write Stuff, Stoker weekend, and others. She is a member of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and International Thriller Writers, where she served as a Vice-President and a member of the board of directors. Janice has worked in television/film production and multimedia production. She also has a master’s degree in clinical psychology.
